Staycation for the Holiday
With the holidays out of the way, and some free time, I’m taking advantage and tapping into my inner child. I’ve built a couple Lego1 sets for the kids, and one for myself!
My son got the LEGO City Deep Space Rocket and Launch Control kit with Monorail for one of his bigger gifts, and in true fashion I come in to find that he’s opened all of the bags to leave a mountain of bricks on the kitchen table, and he’s starting on book 6 of like 8 total 😬 … eventually I stepped in to help, despite telling him that I wouldn’t because he started in the middle of the instructions (yeah, I’m old). I also helped him build a Sluban M38-B0302 Heavy Transporter.
I helped my daughter build her Sluban M1 Abrams Tank because they’re both into military sets lately ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ who am I to judge?
Eventually I built an ‘85 Audi Sport Quattro S1 to join my desk as a visual piece.
